Amidst all the excitement surrounding the announcement of the Verizon iPhone, it seems that Apple has removed all mention of the white iPhone 4 from its online stores. MacRumors has reported that, while Apple’s online stores once claimed that the white iPhone 4 would be available in Spring 2011, the Apple online store now does not display pictures of the white iPhone at all. Meanwhile, Robert X. Cringely remains steadfast in his view that the white iPhone will be a Verizon exclusive. However, Cringely now predicts that the white iPhone will be for Verizon’s 4G LTE network — which has not yet expanded out of a few major metropolitan areas — and that it will be released later this year.
